A simulated environment to exemplify the basic steps in missing persons processes
The scenario-based learning project raises awareness of the different roles, actors, and institutions involved in the missing persons process to non-technical stakeholders and other ICMP partners, as well as presenting internal and external challenges faced during the process.
Objectives of the project
The simulation explores the internal challenges found in each step of the missing persons process and how these challenges can be addressed.
It also demonstrates external challenges arising from interactions between different roles, institutions, and objectives in the missing persons process.
Addressing these challenges throughout the process provides participants with the opportunity to discuss complex topics about missing persons in a controlled environment.
